There’s a story I’ve always liked that reflects this well: the one about the baby elephant that grew up tied to a stake, and as an adult, even with the strength to break free, didn’t — because it still believed it couldn’t.
The story captures perfectly how a past experience can create such a strong limitation in the present.
The only way to release that limitation is by updating the experience and restoring the feeling that’s blocking us.
My intention is to guide you through that release.

At 32, I went through a significant change driven by growing dissatisfaction. I decided to move to Barcelona in search of a fresh start, since I felt disconnected and unmotivated with my life back home. Worrying about how others perceived me led me into negative thoughts and emotions. By blaming my surroundings, I believed moving would leave those feelings behind.
This process was challenging and I faced loneliness. I dealt with feelings of rejection and insecurity, comparing myself to others and feeling not good enough. This resulted in a lack of motivation and a sense of being stuck, as if I were just going through the motions of life without a clear purpose.
Faced with a persistent sense of meaninglessness and fear, I decided to seek help, and that’s how I began my Gestalt therapy journey. Over time, and with my therapist’s guidance, I was able to go deeper and understand the reasons behind my dissatisfaction, recognising my own responsibility in it.
The experience and training of the last decade, working with people who share similar experiences, has allowed me to identify keys to freeing yourself from limiting thoughts and emotions. Having personally gone through overcoming those feelings myself, I recognise it can sometimes be a challenge, but I’m also certain it’s possible. I’m here to support you through that process.
